The wine bottle lights are definitely my biggest focus right now, and two of my favorites from the day we first made them are always on my crafting desk, reminding me how much I love them and how much I’d love to make them for others. I just made great leaps and bounds in getting more bottles onto my Etsy page (though I still have many more to go before I’m happy). One of the major steps in this progress was a big “photoshoot” for my bottles. I waited for the perfect sun angle to hit the apartment and then went as quickly as I could in my makeshift studio (the corner by my bedroom door) getting everything I needed to photographed. I finished them and it looked like I had maybe 3 minutes of light to spare (turned out to be about 1 and a half!!).
TLDR; I used this chance to get some really good pictures of my desk bottles!

One of my two favorite wine bottle lights, which I keep centered on the desk in my craft room. This one has a plastic rose living in it! (The room stays completely dark when not in use so I’m out of luck on a real flower in there…)

Playing around with my two background options. I use them for my “photoshoots” for Etsy posts.

One of my two favorite wine bottle lights, which I keep centered on the desk in my craft room. This one has the label put back on because it is from a local winery I love! (I also love the heron!)

The whole view of the desk. Featuring Degas inspiration art (I got the print in Madrid after seeing the painting itself), a Chicago calendar, keychain from Nicaragua, and art quotes from a local ink press shop. As well as the two wine bottle lights of course!
